Julia was the pretty young girl with the quick mind. Valentinus read the stories of a Rome’s history to her. He described a world of nature to her. He taught her arithmetic or told her about God .She saw a world through his eyes ,trusted his wisdom or found comfort in his quiet strength.
Valentinus ” Does a God really hear our prayers?” Julia asked one day.
Yes, Child .He hears each one.
Do you know what I pray for the every morning or every night? I pray that i might see. I want so much to see the everything you have told me about.
God always does what’s the best for all of us if we only believe in him” Valentinus said.
“Oh, Valentinus I do Believe. I do ” She felt or grasped his hand.
They sat quietly together each praying . Suddenly there was the brilliant light in a prison cell. Radiant Julia screamed, “Valentinus I see!” I can See.
